Sounds like you are on a cruise, that assumption made:

1) Your port is right next to the Aloha Tower Marketplace in Downtown Honolulu. I suggest you plan on a 4-hour window for the Arizona, Missouri and Bowfin excursion. The Arizona Memorial is about 30 minutes away (one-way) by car. There is no admission charge, thus there are no reservations and it is a first come first served situation. I highly recommend that you arrive as early as possible because there are a limited number of launches to the site. The admission line can grow real long, real quick since this is a very popular attraction. Also, prior to boarding the launch, you will be treated to a 30 minute documentary film highlighting the history of the memorial beginning with "the day of infamy". The tour itself lasts approximately 1 hour and also plan on spending another 45 minutes browsing through the gift shop.

2) The Missouri and Bowfin exhibits are within walking distance but each charge an admission fee.

3) From there, hop onto Hiway 1 towards Waikiki (take the Nimitz Freeway, Hiway 92 into Honolulu). Follow the Nimitz straight into downtown and make a right on Kalakaua Avenue. Welcome to Waikiki - the beach is off to your right for the next 3 miles. Good luck finding a parking lot or a parking space!

Drive to the other side of the island to see some deserted beaches rather than Waikiki beach which is nothing spectacular. When you leave the Arizona Memorial area, take the H1 highway or Rt-99 north toward Waimea and rive around the island. If you take the 99 you can stop at the Dole pineapple plantation. whenyou get around to the other side of the island you can stop at the polynesian Cultural Center. Follow RT-83 around the island until you get to RT-63 which wilkl bring you back to the city of Honolulu. Get a map before you go driving; ask the rental company for one, they have them. Have them point out where you want to go on the map.
