I am moving on the beach in Hawaii. (for safety reasons I don't want to disclose which one or which island) But it is on Hawaii. And I know it is not a popular beach for snorkeling but it doesn't have any waves so I can't surf there so I was trying to think of activities I could do (not much of a lay on the shore kind of person). So I was wondering can you snorkel at any beach? Like will I be able to see anything?

I suppose theoretically you can snorkeling anywhere just to be in the water and doing something, but you won't see much if the beach is sandy because the fish like rocky or areas with coral where there is food and shelter.

I'd probably just do a lot of walking and take up a hobby like bird watching that would give me something to do.
