I'm travelling to Hawaii at the beginning of November. I'll be getting there at the DST change over. Does Hawaii do DST also? Will the time fall back an hour there in November?

Thanks!

Nope! Hawaii doesn't need daylight savings time. The length of daylight in Hawaii ranges from about 13 hours in summertime to about 11 hours in winter. In other words, the sun sets only about an hour earlier in the peak of winter than it does at the peak of summer, and rises about an hour later.

The farther you go from the equator (the higher your latitude) the bigger the difference is between hours of daylight in winter, and hours of daylight in summer.

No they don't observe the time change. Many of the residents don't pay attention to the change and some don't even know what it is!

The reason that the continental US has Daylight Savings Times is because they needed it to be lighter longer during farming season. Hawaii is in a geographical location where it's pretty much the same amount of sunlight everyday no matter the season, so they don't need it!

Hawaii doesn't need daylight savings time. The islands are in the Western hemisphere & in the middle of the ocean so the sun sets later in the day. The reason daylight savings time is to save energy & for better use of the day light. The sun sets quite late in Hawaii so they don't really need it. mo...

No. Hawaii is one of the couple states that don't. They're always on standard time (-10 UTC).
