Any bars or clubs I can get into if I'm under 21 in the Honolulu area?

My husband is turning 21 a week before Halloween and obviously he's going to want to go to bars or clubs. I'm 19 but would like to accompany him as DD, so are there any bars or clubs that allow people under 21 in, but not to drink?

There are several night clubs that are open to 18 and over on certain nights of the week. (you just get a different colored wrist band so you don't buy/drink alcohol). A couple of fun ones are Zanzabar and SoHo. Zanzabar is located in the center of Waikiki inside the Waikiki Trade Center at the corner of Seaside and Kuhio Avenues. SoHo is a cool place in Chinatown.
Check out their websites and check ahead to make sure which nights you can get in.

House to the State Capitol, Honolulu may be the vibrant epicentre of Hawaii and an area worth visit, like you will dsicover with hotelbye . In Honolulu you will find everything from historic landmarks and cherished monuments to world-class shopping and a flourishing arts and lifestyle scene. House to the majority of Oahu's population, the expansive city of Honolulu advances through the entire south-eastern shores of Oahu, from Pearl Harbor to Makapuu Point, encompassing world famous Waikiki. Pearl Harbor is certainly one of Honolulu's greatest tourist attractions. Though it is home to the Navy's Pacific Fleet, readers may have a visit to see the USS Arizona Memorial, and the USS Missouri.

There are some nightclubs that allow under 21's but you will have to ask at the door.
Though, I don't think its a good idea to let your "husband" go since the club scene in Waikiki is suited for singles who want to party, flirt & get laid with other drunken singles.
There is one night club that I remember puts a coloured wrist band on under 21's so that the serving help won't serve booze to. But I forget the name of the club coz its a lame place that plays lame house dance tunes.
The second poster is correct, a few places have designated days/nights where they allow under 21's
to enter & participate in the revelry for the night.

Not that I know of.
You can go to places like the Mai Tai Bar at the Royal Hawaiian or Duke's, though. They serve alcohol to people 21 and over and the atmosphere of both places is wonderful! You can enjoy live music and the sunset right from your table, if you like.
It's not the "bar scene," though. You have to be 21 for that.

I know Zanzibar lets minors in some nights, Trader Vic's, MadDogs, Moose McGillicuddy's, Red Lion, and Senor Frogs are all your best shots for maybe getting in. My suggestion is to ask around early (like when your going for supper) or if that's too much hassle just walk in and not drink. That's what I did before I turned 21.

ladies have a tendancy to look and act extra mature ( in maximum circumstances) than adult males of the comparable age. some bartenders ignore "wonderful" ladies, yet will card a guy that looks too boyish.
